Empowering Ontario's Math Classrooms
Coding & Robotics for Hands-on Math Learning Aligned with Ontario Math Curriculum Expectations
Real-World Math Projects
Bring math to life with these engaging, hands-on projects that connect classroom concepts to real-world scenarios. Students will apply Ontario's mathematical curriculum expectations and key principles through coding, robotics, and data analysis to take climate action in the classroom!

In the Glacier Tracking with Satellites Lesson students use a data logger to measure how the percentage of reflected light changes as glacier coverage decreases.

In the Precision Watering with Mobile Irrigation Vehicles Lesson, students calculate speed and watering frequency to determine the most efficient design for water conservation.

In the Replanting Our Forests with Automated Tree Seeders students are given word problems and must calculate the time and distance it takes to plant X number of seeds in a field based on the starter code.

In the Turning Scraps into Soil with Composting Lesson, students calculate the volume and capacity of their tumbler prototype and then scale up the design to life-size.
